Script Agent is a full-stack agentic AI app that transforms any public YouTube video into new content. Claude 3.7 Sonnet powers the core agent, which interprets user goals and chooses the right tools — fetching transcripts, rewriting scripts, titling videos, or generating thumbnails.

The agent uses Claude’s reasoning to coordinate external tools like the YouTube API, DALL·E 3, and Convex — with Vercel AI SDK enabling secure, streaming, server-side function calls.

Project Highlights

  • Claude autonomously selects and invokes server-side tools using Vercel AI SDK — no hardcoded logic or manual routing required.
  • Transcript context is extracted from any public YouTube video using the YouTube Data API.
  • Supports multi-step reasoning: Claude writes a DALL·E prompt, fetches the image, stores it in Convex, and sends back results.
